First for Extraction Ltd - Title Sponsor.
Sponsor and long time supporter is once again the sponsor for this years event. MDMC are grateful to Richard and Steve Henman for their continued support.
We would also like to announce that we have secured a new start and finish venue, with Flowflex no longer available, the event will start and finish at The Great British Car Journey, Ambergate. Planning is well underway and the supplementary regulations will be available soon.
As always, we need those dedicated people that'll stand out in the middle of nowhere so that those entered can enjoy the Derbyshire roads on offer. If you are not competing then please consider volunteering to marshal. As always goodie bags will be on offer and those that stay out all night and do two or more controls/RC's will get a voucher for the mornings breakfast bap.

As you will have noticed, we have changed our event date again, this is because 396 Scouts are walking the area over that weekend, including at night. So the new date is17th- 18th October, we hope this doesn't cause any undue issues and you can amend your plans accordingly.

Although we didn't receive the number of entries we anticipated, we are using the feedback from the 2025 competitors to create a similar event with the iconic Derbyshire roads. With a new start and finish locations (as Flowflex is no longer available), we hope to attract more entries. So far, we haven't received any updates regarding Championship inclusion, but we remain hopeful for greater support for this event.
