Beyond our connection to family-led motorsport, Munkbridge has always believed in the importance of grass roots racing. The grass roots level is where the sport lives and breathes — where drivers learn their craft on tight budgets, real passion, and sheer determination. Without investment and belief at this level, the next generation of talent simply doesn’t get its chance. Supporting grass roots is essential and one that aligns with our values as a business that has always championed hard work over shortcuts.

It is that same ethos that makes Munkbridge Homes with Ryan Faulconbridge such a natural fit for our sponsorship. Ryan’s motorsport journey began at thirteen, watching Truck Racing and the British Touring Cars at Donington Park, and in 2014, he threw himself into club racing with no prior experience — making great progress from his very first meeting.  From 2015 to 2019 Ryan competed in the BRSCC Ford Fiesta Championship, claiming multiple wins podiums along the way.  In 2020, Ryan made the step up to the MINI Challenge JCW Class, a series running alongside the British Touring Car Championship, with races broadcast on ITV. Now he’s jumped into Rallying in the navigator seat for fellow Munkbridge colleague Chris Walker to push hard for further success. With Chris, a real family man, back rallying after a sabbatical himself,  of competing at the sharp end of the leader board. 

Ryan & Chris both represent the very best of British grass roots motorsport — talented, tenacious, and driven by a genuine love of racing.
